High-pressure angle cut-off throttle valve refers to a valve whose closing member (disc) moves along the center line of the valve seat. According to this movement form of the valve disc, the change of the valve seat opening is directly proportional to the valve disc stroke. Because of the relatively short opening or closing stroke of the valve stem, the valve has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat opening is proportional to the stroke of the valve flap, it is very suitable for adjusting the flow. Therefore, this type of valve is very suitable for cutting off or regulating and throttling.

2. Pipelines with lax requirements for convection resistance. That is, where the pressure loss is not considered much.
3. Small valves can be needle valves, instrument valves, sampling valves, pressure gauge valves, etc.
4. There is flow regulation or pressure regulation, but the regulation accuracy is not high, and the pipeline diameter is relatively small. For example, the pipeline with nominal diameter less than or equal to ≤50mm should be selected.
5. High-pressure angle Globe Valve or high-pressure angle throttle valve with nominal pressure of 16MPa for PN160 or 32MPa for PN320 should be selected for small and large fertilizers in synthetic industrial production.
6. For desilication workshop and pipelines prone to coking in Bayer process of alumina production, it is easy to choose DC Stop Valve or DC throttle valve with separated valve body and removable valve seat and cemented carbide sealing pair.
7. For water supply and heating projects in urban construction, cut-off, Balance Valve or plunger valve can be selected for pipelines with smaller nominal diameter, such as pipelines with nominal diameter less than 150 mm. The most obvious advantage is that during the opening and closing process, the friction between the disc and the sealing surface of the valve body is smaller than that of the Gate Valve, so it is wear-resistant. Generally, the opening height is only 1/4 of the diameter of the valve seat channel, so it is much smaller than that of the gate valve. Usually, there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and disc, so the manufacturing technology is better and it is convenient for maintenance.
